Civic Engagement: A Market of Ideas

In addition to the possibility of open agenda sessions at the Market, Scott is developing a couple purpose driven workshops on specific issues including “How to Engage Government” and “Women in Politics.”
The first session on engaging government will coach individuals and community organizations on best practices for running successful advocacy campaigns. It has already been delivered to a number of community organizations. The “Women in Politics” session will address the serious gender imbalance in elected representatives in New Brunswick.
In other Civic Engagement news, the 2026 Roundtable, a diverse group of 35 New Brunswickers gather ambitions for a better New Brunswick by 2026 will be conducting an engagement exercise on learning. More details to come.
